Walk or bike
... through the old town and beyond
In terms of population, Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, but the sights of the old town are close to each other, making it a great city to explore on foot.
Or you can rent a bike and explore the Turia Park. This former river bed has been transformed into a unique park that winds its way through the city.
Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias
Enjoy modern architecture
You can see them from far away: the special buildings that make you want to go closer.
Designed by the Valencian architect Calatrava, the CAC is a complex where culture and leisure come together. This must-see is also the starting and arrival site of the world-famous Marathon of Valencia, which attracts tens of thousands of runners every year in December.
Beautifully situated in the old bed of the river Turia, you will also find the largest aquarium in Europe, a science museum and an opera house.
